The most powerful inspiration for me as a designer is stumbling across the unexpected. This can be anything from coming across an unusual texture I can incorporate into a one of a kind pendant, building a focal piece around an old photo, to incorporating buttons left over from my Mom's days of being a seamstress into a custom picture frame. Anything and everything that crosses my path in life has the potential to find its way into one of my creations! In a sense, Pink Penguin Designs is always "under construction" because I will always be learning, creating, and adding new products to my site.

A very popular seller is personalized items. Bracelets, suncatchers, frames and even pet necklaces can be created with school names, mascots and colors....college or pro sports teams....high school, elementary, etc. If you are trying to come up with a unique and personal gift for someone, names, initials, favorite colors, along with something symbolizing a hobby, can be used to make a one of a kind keepsake.
